The Hidden Danger of "Handyman" Installs

Installing a piece of metal machinery immediately adjacent to a body of water carries severe risks. If an inexperienced installer simply drills bolts into the concrete deck without addressing the electrical bonding, they turn the lift into a deadly lightning rod for stray voltage.

Equipotential Bonding

We tie the metal anchor jig of the lift directly into the thick, #8 solid copper wire grid that surrounds your pool. This ensures that all metal components stay at the exact same voltage potential, making electrical shocks impossible.

Core Drilling & Epoxy

Rather than relying on weak concrete screws, we core-drill a large hole through your deck. We drop the lift's specialized mounting jig into the hole, bond it, and fill the void with structural anchoring epoxy that is vastly stronger than the concrete itself.

Passing City Inspections

In almost all Florida municipalities, an ADA lift installation requires a permit and a specific inspection from an electrical inspector to verify the bonding connection before the epoxy is poured. We manage this entire process for property managers to ensure full legal compliance.
