The Antidote for August Bathwater

By August, many unshaded Florida pools hit 90+ degrees, making swimming feel like taking a warm bath. Active cooling systems use refrigeration technology to physically pull the heat out of your pool water, allowing you to easily drop the temperature by 10 to 15 degrees for crisp, refreshing swimming even on the hottest days.

Heat & Cool Combos

The most popular option is upgrading to a Heat/Cool Heat Pump. With the push of a button, an internal reversing valve switches the flow of refrigerant, allowing the unit to heat your pool in December and chill it in August.

Dedicated Chillers

If you already have a perfectly good gas heater and don't want to replace it, we can install a standalone chiller unit specifically designed to drop water temperatures without adding heating capabilities.

Why Water Features Aren't Enough

Many homeowners run aerators, fountains, or deck jets at night to cool their pools through evaporation. While this helps lower the temperature by a degree or two, it accelerates water loss and doesn't work well when humidity is near 100%. Active refrigerant chillers guarantee cold water regardless of humidity.
