Safe, Professional Gas Troubleshooting

Gas pool heaters heat water incredibly fast, but they rely on a delicate sequence of operations to ignite safely. If the blower, the igniter, or the gas valve fails, the system will lock out to protect you. We specialize in finding where the sequence failed.

Clicking But No Fire

If you hear clicking followed by the heater shutting down (Ignition Lockout), the spark or hot surface igniter is likely broken, or the gas valve isn't opening. We replace these components with precise OEM parts.

Spider Webs & Blockages

Believe it or not, spiders love the smell of the chemical added to natural gas and LP. They frequently build thick webs inside the burner orifices during the off-season, completely blocking the gas flow. We pull and clean the entire burner tray.

Soot Buildup & Rollout

If you see black soot on the side of your heater or smell raw gas, turn it off immediately. This indicates a severe lack of oxygen in the combustion chamber, usually caused by a blocked heat exchanger or a failing blower motor. We provide comprehensive teardowns and cleanings to restore safe combustion.
