Pressure Cleaner Pumps
Keep your pressure-side pool sweep cleaning flawlessly.
Powering the Heavy Lifters
If you use a pressure-side cleaner like a Polaris, you have a small, dedicated pump sitting on your equipment pad. These 3/4 HP booster pumps act like pressure washers, taking water from your main pump and supercharging the pressure to drive the wheels and sweeping tail of your cleaner.
Booster Replacements
When these pumps burn out, they often screech loudly or leak from the reinforced hose connections. We replace dead units with high-efficiency models like the Pentair Boost-Rite or Polaris PB4-60, replacing all high-pressure quick-connect fittings in the process.
Electrical Interlocks
A booster pump must *never* run dry. It requires water to be fed to it by the main pump. We ensure your mechanical timeclocks are properly pinned, or your smart automation relays are interlocked, so the booster pump cannot turn on unless the main pump is running.
Robotic Conversion Alternative
If your booster pump is dead and your Polaris cleaner is also falling apart, we can consult with you on capping the dedicated pressure line and upgrading to an electric, self-contained Robotic Pool Cleaner to save energy and eliminate the need for a booster pump entirely.
