Power Supply & Timeclocks
Tracing electrical issues from the main breaker to the equipment pad.
Stop Guessing. Start Testing.
Many pool owners spend hundreds of dollars replacing a pool pump, only to watch the new pump burn up a month later. Why? Because the root problem was actually a bad power supply. We use multimeters to test voltage, continuity, and amp draw to ensure your equipment is receiving clean, safe power.
Tripping Breakers
If your pump trips the breaker immediately, there is a dead short. If it runs for 10 minutes and then trips, it's drawing too many amps or the breaker is weak. We trace the electrical path to find the fault.
Melted Timeclocks
Mechanical timeclocks (like Intermatic) endure extreme heat and high voltage. Over time, the internal contacts get pitted and can literally melt the plastic casing. We can replace the clock mechanism and re-strip burned wires.
Voltage Drops (The Silent Killer)
If a 240-volt pump is only receiving 200 volts due to a bad wire or failing sub-panel lug, the pump has to pull excessive amperage to compensate. This excess amperage generates massive heat, quietly cooking the motor from the inside out.
