Digging a hole in Florida isn't as simple as it looks. With high water tables and sandy soils along the Treasure Coast, precision excavation and proper dewatering are the foundation of a pool that lasts a lifetime.
Precision Digging
Unlike concrete pools that can be shot into an imperfectly dug hole, a fiberglass pool requires absolute precision. We use laser levels and advanced excavation equipment to dig the hole exactly to the manufacturer's computerized dig sheet specifications.

The Florida Water Table Challenge
In areas like Vero Beach and Sebastian, groundwater can seep into the hole immediately. To combat this, we install an engineered Sump Pipe (Dewatering System) at the deepest point of the excavation.
1. Continuous Pumping
We pump the groundwater out during installation to ensure a dry, stable base for the fiberglass shell to rest on.
2. Lifetime Protection
The sump pipe remains permanently accessible via a skimmer lid on your deck, allowing you to easily pump out groundwater if you ever need to drain the pool.
The Clean Crushed Stone Base
We do not use sand. We use premium, clean crushed stone (gravel) for our base and backfill. Sand can wash away over time, but gravel locks into place, creating a permanent, non-shifting foundation that allows groundwater to flow freely underneath the pool.
