Extracting groundwater and resetting your liner before wrinkles become permanent.

The Post-Storm Emergency

After a major Florida deluge or hurricane, the ground becomes entirely saturated. If the groundwater pressure exceeds the weight of the water inside your pool, it will push underneath the vinyl, causing the floor to balloon up like a giant waterbed. You must act quickly to remove this water before the liner stretches, shrinks, and forms permanent, hard wrinkles.

Groundwater Extraction

We carefully peel back a small section of the liner bead from the coping track and insert specialized extraction hoses. We use heavy-duty trash pumps to physically pull the trapped groundwater out from behind the liner.

Vacuum Resetting

Once the water is removed, we cannot just let the liner fall back down—it will wrinkle. We immediately switch to industrial vacuums to suck the air out from behind the liner, locking it tightly back against the pool walls and floor.

Timing is Everything

If a liner floats for too long, the chemicals and UV exposure cause the vinyl to lose its elasticity. If you wait weeks to call a professional, the wrinkles will likely become permanent, and a full liner replacement will be required. Call us the moment you notice the floor lifting.
